Crystal Savoy MS, RD, LDN

Hi there!  I’m the owner of Crystal Savoy RD Nutrition Counseling.  I live north of Boston with my husband and 19 year old cat.  My interest in nutrition developed out of a love for cooking.  Through my own history with disordered eating as well as gut + hormone issues, I realized my passion was working with and supporting clients with nutrition counseling.  My approach combines the foundations of both Intuitive Eating and functional nutrition resulting in a “root cause without restriction” framework.  This style of counseling aims to figure out what is causing symptoms + uses a holistic treatment that promotes autonomy in individuals to optimize their health focusing on behaviors + what works in the real world!

I received a master’s degree in nutrition from Simmons University where I also completed their dietetic internship specializing in the treatment of eating disorders.  From there, I worked in higher levels of care as well as various roles in outpatient private practice before starting my own group practice. I continue to complete training and ongoing mentorship on the topics of eating disorders, GI, + hormone health.

In my free time I enjoy painting, plants, trying new recipes and restaurants, reading, being outdoors, and hanging with my cat and husband. I also have a passion for collecting resources to share & for continued training.
