Leanna Pulver MS, RD, LDN
Hi! My name is Leanna Pulver and I am a Registered Dietitian living in Miami, Florida. I grew up in a Southern home where I learned to appreciate yummy foods like fried chicken and home made biscuits. When I left home and went to college I started my exploration of cuisines from all around the world by attending international meet-up groups and traveling with friends to different countries like France, Bulgaria, and Brazil. To this day I have a cook-book that I still add recipes to from my family, friends, and different wonderful strangers that I meet.
My love of food is what got me interested in the field of dietetics. However, my heart and passion for eating disorders stems from having loved ones who have suffered themselves. I received my bachelor’s degree in dietetics from Keiser University and my Master’s in psychology from Louisiana Tech University. My psychology background really helps me be able to empathize with my clients.
I currently work as a clinical dietitian and have worked at a higher level of care for eating disorders. There, I supported all ages in recovery to help them understand their relationship with food, provide education on the importance of adequate nutrition, to taste and enjoy food, and begin to incorporate fear foods back into their diet. Additionally, my motto is to move in a way that makes you feel good and happy in your body.

I love the ocean. I just started scuba diving in June of 2021 with the goal of traveling the world to see what is left of the coral reefs. I also love sharks and shark diving. They’re like giant puppy dogs in the water. Other things I love include spending quality time with family and friends, being lazy in bed during thunder storms, and trying new things. The world is my oyster.
